NATURE SPIRIT TRUTH AND THAI WAY With the runaway success of our first exhibition " The Seven Ages of Man" we are thrilled to br ing you our follow up exhibit " Nature Spirit Truth and t he ThaiWay " This special event brings together the work of four of our nationally recognized artist . Sawasdi Tantisuk, Angkarn Kalayanapong, Pichai Nirand andPrayut Pongdam Withness the art of the four great artists together for one month only from Sunday April 23rd until May 24th at 44 Arts. You kindly invited to attend the opening day party, at 5:30pm on April 23rd. Come, meet the artist, quench your desire to see, fall in love with,and own the paintings of these artists. THE ART OF TIK SHIRO Most of us are familiar with Tik Shiro' songs and music. Now get acquainted with another side of the musician. 44 Arts proudly brings you an exhibit of the paintings and drawing s of Tik Shiro, his first solo exhibition " Took Sing Keu Sing Diiaw " is a 30 years retrospective of Tik's Artwork. Over 50 pieces of his art will be on display at 44 Arts. from Sunday, June 4th, to July4th 2006

งานวาดเส้น  ( Drawing ) จัดได้ว่าเป็นศิลปะร่วมสมัยที่มีความโดดเด่นและทรงพลัง ทุกเส้นสาย ทุกลายสีที่เหล่าศิลปินได้รังสรรค์นั้น สื่อความหมายที่แตกต่าง ตามอารมณ์ จินตนาการ ประสบการณ์และความรู้สึก ซึ่งได้บอกเล่าเรื่องราวสะท้อนความเป็นตัวตนและเอกลักษณ์ของศิลปินได้เป็นอย่างดี 44 Arts นำเสนอผลงานการวาดเส้นอันเป็นที่สุดของ 10 ศิลปินระดับแนวหน้าของไทย โดยได้รับเกียรติจากศิลปิน รับเชิญ อ.เฉลิมชัย โฆษิตพิพัฒน์และอ.ประเทือง เอมเจริญ พร้อมด้วยศิลปินร่วมแสดง  อ.อารีย์ สุทธิพันธุ์, อ.แนบ โสตถิพันธุ์, อ.ช่วง มูลพินิจ, เมืองไทย บุษมาโร, จิตต์สิงห์ สมบุญ, ศักดิ์วุฒิ  วิเศษมณี, วุฒิกร  คงคา, ทวีศักดิ์ ศรีทองดี มาอวดโฉมภายใต้งานนิทรรศการที่มีชื่อว่า “ วาดเส้น ” (Drawing) ผลงานการวาดเส้นที่จะจัดแสดงขึ้น นี้ล้วนเป็นผลงานที่เหล่าศิลปินได้สร้างสรรค์ขึ้นมาใหม่ และได้นำมาจัดแสดงภายในนิทรรศการครั้งนี้โดยเฉพาะ อีกทั้งยังมีผลงานการวาดเส้นที่หาชมได้ยากจากบรรดานักสะสมที่นำมาร่วมแสดงในครั้งนี้ด้วย 44 Arts presents“ Drawing” an art exhibition by 10 Thai artists Drawing is a means of making an image, using any of a wide variety of tools and techniques. It generally involves making marks on a surface by applying pressure from a tool, or moving a tool across a surface. Common tools are graphite pencils, pen and ink, inked brushes, wax color pencils, crayons, charcoals, pastels, and markers. Digital tools which simulate the effects of these are also used. The main techniques used in drawing are: line drawing, hatching, crosshatching, random hatching, scribbling, stippling, and blending. 44Arts proudly presents “ Drawing Art Exhibition ” by 10 Thai artists, Chalermchai Kositpipat and Pratuang Emjaroen who are the invitation artist are reputation of Thai artist in drawing and painting with the different style ,not just only these 2 Thai artists drawings, but also the other drawings by Thai artists who are well known in the world of Thai art such as Aree Sootipunt, Nab Sotthibandhu,Chuang Moolpinit, Muangthai Busamaro, Jitsing Somboon, Wuttikorn Khongka, Thaweesak Srithongdee, Sakwut Wisesmanee are shown at the same time here with the drawings from the Thai collectors . This is a good time that all Thai who love in art come to join us at 44Arts which is located on the 2nd floor of 44 Plaza Jakkrapong Rd., Pranakorn, Bangkok ( Near Khosarn Rd.) The exhibition will be started from August 7th - 30th ,2006

นิทรรศการ “นามธรรมบริสุทธิ์” ( Pure Abstract Arts ) โดย ศาสตราจารย์เกียรติคุณกำจร สุนพงษ์ศรี Abstract Art คือ งานศิลปะที่ไม่หมือนจริงในธรรมชาติ ไม่บ่งบอกเรื่องราวหรือเหตุการณ์ แต่เป็นความคิดสร้างสรรค์ของศิลปินที่แสวงหาวิธีการแสดงออกทางความคิดที่เป็นอิสระของเส้น สี และรูปทรง ที่พริ้วไหวไปตามอารมณ์ ความรู้สึก โดยอาศัยหลักวิชาการและเทคนิคทางเชิงช่างที่สะท้อน ความเป็นเอกลักษณ์และตัวตนของศิลปินผู้นั้น ศาตราจารย์เกียรติคุณกำจร สุนพงษ์ศรี กับนิทรรศการ “ นามธรรมบริสุทธิ์ ” (Pure Abstract Arts) นิทรรศการเดี่ยวในรอบ 4 ปีที่ได้รวบรวมผลงานกว่า 40 ชิ้น ซึ่งเกิดจากการผสมผสานของธรรมชาติกับจินตนาการ กลวิธีและการนำเสนอพลังอันลึกลับของอนุภาพของสี ที่อยู่ในห้วงจิตสำนึกของการคิดค้น และสร้างสรรค์ของท่าน การใช้พู่กันที่สามารถสร้างจุดเล็กจุดน้อยที่เกิดจากการสาดกระเซ็นของสี ดูราวกับพรายน้ำ พรายอากาศที่ล่องลอยกระจัดกระจายอยู่อย่างอิสระ พร้อมที่จะให้ผู้ที่ชมงานศิลปะได้จินตนาการตาม นอกจากนี้ยังมีผลงานประติมากรรมและผลงานทางด้านวิชาการของศาตราจารย์เกียรติคุณกำจร สุนพงษ์ศรี ซึ่งได้รวบรวมมาจัดแสดงในนิทรรศการครั้งนี้ด้วย
